Continuous Checks are conducted from start to finish by QC department

Engineering drawing analysis

Our Engineering department provides an in-depth analysis on client supplied drawings to calculate the total steel required on the project, prepares the tentative program for submission of shop drawings & Bar Bending schedules (BBS), and proposes cost reduction solutions for reinforcement on the project. Moreover any discrepancies found in the contract drawings are highlighted to the client to avoid unforseen problems on site. Shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) are thereafter prepared by our Engineering Team as per BS 4466 or BS 8666 using AutoCAD on behalf of the main contractors; the BBS is automatically generated by our software in SDI or Excel formats. The shop drawings are then submitted to the client for onward submission to the consultant for final approval prior to fabrication.

With our engineering expertise, close coordination and visits with site engineers we are able to assist our clients with their onsite problems, and offer valueengineering where required.

Electronic Data Processing

Upon receipt of the approved BBS from the contractor mentioning the priorities of elements to be produced our data Processing team enters the BBS into our production software for the generation of production tags. The production tags carry all necessary data for controlled production such as bar marks, sizes and weights

Production of Cut & Bent steel commences once the EDP Cell provides the Tags to the Shop floor where the Supervisors are responsible for distribution of these tags and monitoring of the production process from start to finish .

Quality Control

To achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency on every job. continuous checks are conducted throughout the production process by the QC Department ensuring that the highest quality of product is delivered to our customers. Prior to dispatch the QC department verifies that all materials processed and being loaded are of the correct dimensions, as per the approved BBS and tags issued by the production department, and properly bundled for ease of identification at the time of off-loadine.
